Metro Coordinated Plan

  • AA Team Shines on Senior & Disability Transit! Our team is bringing expertise and innovation to Metro’s Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan, enhancing transit accessibility for seniors and individuals with disabilities across LA County.

  • CBO Strategy: Collaboration in Action – The AA Team designed Metro’s CBO engagement strategy, selected key partnerships with Move LA and Service Center for Independent Life, engaged 10 additional CBOs as Outreach Support Partners, and hosted a Roundtable to ensure inclusive outreach for LA County seniors and individuals with disabilities.

  •  Innovations Team: Data-Driven Brilliance – Analyzed data, synthesized community feedback, and aligned funding priorities to meet the needs of seniors and individuals with disabilities, delivering real data and stories to Metro CPU.

  • Metro and Project Staff brought the community together with two virtual and five in-person focus groups across LA County! These sessions were thoughtfully designed to welcome participants of all backgrounds, ensuring accessibility, inclusivity, and meaningful engagement every step of the way.

  • AA and Metro engaged 100+ participants from 65 organizations to improve transit, gathering 350+ survey responses on safer, more accessible options. Prioritizing accessibility, the event featured multilingual interpretation, large-font visuals, inclusive seating, ADA-compliant refreshments, and multiple survey formats.

  • Thanks to AA’s dedication, Metro’s outreach reached 792 agency contacts and over 5,749 through emails, surveys, and focus group invites—amplifying community voices!

  • The Metro Coordinated Plan remains on track to drive meaningful change because of the AA teams commitment. The draft opens for public review in Spring 2025, with the final launch in Summer 2025—advancing equity, inclusion, and accessibility in LA County.

  • We made a little room for some holiday cheer after a successful Focus Group in Palmdale, CA!

  • Savor the perfect blend of sweet and tangy with Kate Santanello’s family recipe for Lemon-Vanilla Bean Posset also known as a “creamy dessert.” This refreshing dessert is as easy to make as it is impressive—a delightful way to end any meal!

  • Our new 2025 Employee Handbook is now available, plus McGriff is rolling out a year of wellness tips to help you stay at your best. There’s also an important RAMP card reminder!

  • We love seeing all the fun moments shared in our AA Stories chat! Keep the posts coming, and don’t forget to like, comment, and engage with your colleagues’ updates!
